We had close to 400 parents and students attend Books, Bears and Bubbles, our family literacy night. Parents and children had the opportunity to engage with 25 interactive literacy booths that taught parents how to support learning at home. It was a fun night with guest readers in English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Arabic as well as a local author who read and gave a few signed copies of her book to some of our students. Families were greeted by some of our high school mascots and a very special guest, Spiderman showed up as well.
